Teambuilding Event Process
Once the purpose of the session / event has been decided there are many & various processes that can be used to deliver that purpose. Some examples are:
Belbin Team Types: This is a process to identify the various team types of members of the team to enable team members to understand how to build on the strengths and compensate for any weaknesses
Demand & Deliver: A process to clarfy roles or benaviour contracts between individuals within the team
Team Purpose: A process whereby the team agrees its purpose
Team Values: A process to agree the team values that will guide the team behaviour
Teamship Rules: A process for the team to agree their behaviours on key areas & the consequences of non delivery
String Exercise: A process for emphasising how important it is to help new team members who are joining the team
Eggs Can Leap: An exercise to get teams working together to deliver a task
Shepherds & Sheep: An exercise to help the team work on communication
Support it: An exercise to get teams working together by using the skills of team members
Collage: An exercise to get teams discussing a situation and creatively expressing it
Compass: An exercise to explore different personalities within the team
Transactional Analysis: An exercise to encourage "adult" behaviour between team members
